Giving at FBC
Giving is a Healthy Habit; that's one of the ways in which we grow our faith. When we give we begin to trust God with our finances, as well as allowing ourselves to be the boss of our money rather than our money being the boss of us.
Your giving to FBC helps us to do what we do. We exist to help people find and follow Jesus, this includes finding faith as well as hope. Every week, we connect with hundreds of individuals, helping them to take the next step on their journey of faith or helping them take a step out of poverty or the difficult situations they find themselves in through our Community Teams.
What we do with our money shows what is really important to us. Giving to FBC is a crucial way of helping this church feel like your church. What do we do with the money given to us?
FBC is both a charity and a company. We generate income through our cafe and the people who use the FBC Centre as their home or for the activities they run. All of this money is put straight back into enabling the centre and cafe to function.
This is how we allocate the money you give to us:
20% - We give away
Thanks to your generosity we are able to support a number of amazing organisations locally, nationally and across the world.
60% - Staff costs
We like to be able to pay our staff and to support their ongoing development. Cafe and Centre focussed staff are paid through the money generated through the cafe and centre. Everyone else is supported through the generosity of people like you.
10% - Direct Costs
That’s things like the bills and services we need to do what we do and keep the lights on.
10% - Ministry Costs
We want to be able to resource our teams to be able to deliver excellent progammes and money. This is things like equipment, resources, training and technology
